The CAPE-2 Command and Data Handling Subsystem has recently received their first single board prototype with an ARM 9 processor running Linux, and are hard at work at running tests, and marking revisions for the next board.
CAPE-2: Command and Data Handling – Data Transfer Demo

Jeremy from the Command and Data Handling Subsystem of CAPE-2 recently demoed progress made by his subsystem in senior design class at the last team meeting (12/2/10). Below is a small description to accompany his explanation of the demo in the video also attached below.
Description: This video is a demonstration of the onboard computer of CAPE2 transferring data using software designed to run on out groundstation. The hardware used is an ARM9 based AT91SAM9260 connected to the serial port of the laptop. One of the upcoming goals is to get data transferred using radios instead of a wireless connection.
